The wellspring of well being

It is not enough to have a good mind; the main thing is to use it well.

The wellspring of well being

Inspired by René Descartes (Philosopher)’s quote, “It is not enough to have a good mind; the main thing is to use it well.” The titled responsion is a Cartesion reference of sorts. Do get the point? See the light?

Wellspring, sprung or springing spans all space and time with viewed through the eyes of survival. Light sensitivity may have been our only origin story. Phenomenology aside, the creative fiction within is a drama-tic turn toward the metaphysical. Without mysticism, I advocate towards the pragmatics of the metaphor, imagination and the perfected perfectibility that is the Good in herself. Footnotes to Plato (via Whitehead).

I Will Remember that When I Write Your Biography

Inspired by George Steiner (1929–2020)’s quote, “The immense majority of human biographies are a gray transit between domestic spasm and oblivion.” The titled responsion is light tying a string on my finger, adding to my to-do list. Someday George, someday.

This graduated role reversal of humility is an act worth thinking about. Revolutions take place despite our preoccupation with initiation. As the world turns, living is perpetual, limited to our species in language only.
